Now Hiring: Chartered Accountant
Most job adverts say the same things:
“Dynamic team.”
“Fast-paced environment.”
“Exciting opportunity.”
So here’s the honest version instead.
We’re a Chartered Accountancy practice based in Warrenpoint. We help local businesses and individuals with their accounts, tax returns, and general financial headaches.
We’re a small team, which means you’ll actually know the people you work with. We try to do good work, help our clients properly, and keep the office atmosphere relaxed and supportive.
If you’re looking for a place where you can learn, take responsibility, and be part of a normal, friendly team rather than a corporate machine, this could be a good fit.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA – newly qualified or with experience) to join our team.
You’ll work closely with colleagues and clients, helping to deliver high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory work. Because we’re a small team, you’ll be involved in a broad range of work and will get to know your clients well.
Your work will include things like:
- Preparing financial statements and reports to a high standard
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients and building strong relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Reviewing work and offering constructive feedback
- Assisting clients with tax compliance and advisory matters
- Helping to improve processes and share best practice within the team
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Are ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Have experience working in general practice
- Are comfortable spotting issues and suggesting practical solutions
- Are confident using technology and accounting software (Xero experience is a plus)
- Communicate well with both colleagues and clients
Just as importantly, you’re someone who takes pride in doing good work and enjoys being part of a team where people help each other out.
What’s in it for you?
- Competitive salary
- Half-day Fridays
- Pension
- Professional membership fees covered
- Ongoing training and development
And, perhaps most importantly, the chance to work in a small, supportive team where you’ll be trusted with real responsibility and client relationships.
